Iago Moussalem Named MAC Swimmer of the Week

OXFORD, Ohio - Sophomore swimmer Iago Moussalem was named Mid-American Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, the conference announced Thursday. This is Moussalem's first time receiving this weekly honor.
Iago Moussalem was a big factor in Miami's dominating win over Xavier on Saturday, earning 29 points for the Miami men. Individually, he won the 200 free (1:41.61) and the 100 fly (50.06). This is Moussalem's third win in the 100 fly this season, never having placed lower than second. He added to his strong individual performance with a win as part of the 400 medley relay (3:24.10).
The Miami men travel to Ball State on Saturday, February 10 for a 1:00 p.m. meet. A select group of men and women travel to the Ohio State Invitational on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11.
