
Women Finish Fourth at MAC Championships

ATHENS, Ohio - The Miami University women's swimming and diving finished fourth at the 2018 MAC Championships with 516 points.
Pei Lin received the MAC award for the Most Outstanding Senior Swimmer/Diver of the Year. Lin was also named MAC Co-Diver of the Year. Lin and Ella Moynihan were named All-MAC First Team. Holly Schuster, Carolyn Jungers, Emma Bradley and Izzy Herb were named All-MAC Second Team.
Competition concluded with the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 3-mtr dive finals, 200 fly and the 400 free relay today.
Pei Lin won the 3-mtr dive for the fourth year in a row, setting a meet record with her 402.55 score.
Abby Stone finished fifth overall in the 200 back (1:59.25). Herb was seventh (2:00.00) with Jungers (2:01.10) and Hannah Fuchs (2:01.21) coming in ninth and tenth, respectively.
Schuster had the fastest Miami time in the 200 breast (2:14.83), finishing fifth overall. Macey Neubauer touched the wall in eighth (2:18.11) and Elise Campbell in tenth (2:16.36).
In the 200 fly, Bri Alexander finished 12th (2:02.54), Herb finished 14th (2:02.68) and Kayleigh Cannon finished 15th (2:04.01).
Bradley was the runner up for the 1650 free (16:25.48). Moynihan touched the wall in fifth (16:36.81) with Shay Spelman (14th, 17:01.67) and Claire Doerr (15th, 17:06.06) rounding out Miami's participants.
Miami's 400 free relay team finished third (3:22.64), thanks to Campbell, Stone, Anna Justinak and Moynihan.
