
Women's MAC Championships Day 2 Recap

ATHENS, Ohio - The Miami University women's swimming and diving team is currently in fourth with 170 points after two days of competition at the 2018 MAC Championships.
The women competed in the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 1-mtr dive and the 200 free relay.
Ella Moynihan set a MAC record in the 500 free (4:42.42). Emma Bradley finished in third (4:47.49) and Claire Doerr finished 14th (4:55.13), each earning points for the RedHawks. Moynihan and Bradley's times qualify them for the NCAA meet in the 500 free.
In the 200 IM, Carolyn Jungers finished fastest for Miami, placing sixth overall (2:02.56). Elise Campbell touched the wall tenth (2:02.26), with Abby Stone in 13th (2:03.42) and Macey Neubauer in 16th (2:04.91) rounding out the Miami 200 IM swimmers.
Anna Justinak was the lone RedHawk competing in the 50 free (23.67), finishing 16th.
In the 1-mtr dive, Pei Lin was the runner up, scoring 305.30.
Moynihan, Campbell, Stone and Izzy Herb touched the wall third overall as Miami's 200 free relay team (1:32.34).
On Friday, the women will compete in the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, 3-mtr dive and the 400 medley relay.
