
Larkin Earns Dual NCHC Honors

Ryan Larkin was named the NCHC’s Player and Goaltender of the Month.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ryan Larkin's dominant October stretch earned him a pair of awards from the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
Larkin was named the NCHC's Player and Goaltender of the Month after winning five of his six starts and posting three shutouts in October.
A junior from Clarkston, Mich., Larkin started six of Miami's last seven games in October and allowed one goal or less in five of those outings. Larkin's three shutouts are the most in the country while his 0.83 goals against average and .966 save percentage are tops among all goaltenders who have started more than two games.
This is the first monthly NCHC award in Larkin's career.
Miami begins NCHC play at Omaha this weekend with Friday's series opener facing off at 8:07 p.m. ET.
