Swim and Dive Opens with Intrasquad Meet

OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University Swimming and Diving team opens its 2017-18 season with the annual Red/White intrasquad meet on Saturday at 9 a.m.
This meet marks the beginning of the second season as a combined program.
The men are led by four seniors, who combined for eight top-15 finishes in the MAC Championships last season. The team welcomes 15 freshman to the roster.
The women begin the season with eight seniors, including two red-shirted seniors, and 13 freshman. Red-shirted senior Pei Lin leads the women. Lin was named All-MAC First Team and MAC Diver of the Year. She was the NCAA Division I Runner-Up for the three-meter dive and placed seventh for the one-meter dive. Lin won every other event she competed in last season.
The combined team begins the regular season with a home meet against Purdue on Friday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m.
