Pei Lin Named MAC Diver of the Week

CLEVELAND- Redshirt junior diver Pei Lin was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Diver of the week, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.
The award is the second of the season for Lin and the fourth of her career. Ella Moynihan and Elise Campbell have also won the award this season.
Lin was the only lady RedHawk to win two individual events on Friday against Eastern Michigan. She took gold in the three-meter dive and one-meter dive.
In the three-meter, she won by a score of 380.18. Lin won with 314.32 points in the one-meter. Lin beat out the second-place finisher in the three-meter dive by 75.15. She won the one-meter dive by a margin of 35.09 points.
Miami University's swimming and diving squad will be splitting up this week. The men will stay home and face Ball State on Saturday at 1 p.m. for senior day. A portion of the women's team will head to Columbus for the Ohio State Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
