Wukovits won a pair of events this past weekend versus Ball State. He first won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.64 and followed that up with a win in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:04.91.
This is the first time this season and in his career that Larkin has been named Miami's Male Athlete of the Week.
Strickler worked her way into Miami's record books over the weekend, breaking her own shot put record with a toss of 56-2 at the Meyo Invitational to take first place honors for the second week in a row. The senior now holds the top two slots in Miami's all-time indoor shot put top- 10. Strickler's new Miami record was not the only thing she picked up with her toss, as it also put her in excellent position for her second career berth in the NCAA Indoor Championships since she now ranks ninth in the country in that event.
This is the first time this season and third time in her career that Strickler has been named Miami's Female Athlete of the Week. She previously won it for the week of April 27-May 3, 2015.
The next Miami Athletes of the Week will be announced on Monday, Feb. 13.
