Sedio wrapped up the regular season of his senior campaign in the Red & White with an outstanding week at the dish. The shortstop hit .600 (6-for-10) in three starts last week, making a start against Xavier and two at Ohio. The Highland, Ohio native slugged .900 with half of his hits being doubles. He also chipped in five runs, two stolen bases and four runs batted in. Sedio's big week helped Miami in securing the No. 3 seed in the this week's MAC Tournament.
Logemann appeared in all three of Miami's games at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional over the weekend. The Earlham, Iowa native opened things on a high note by tossing seven strong innings against Notre Dame, allowing just two runs while striking out six batters as Miami pulled out a 3-2 victory. Facing No. 2 Michigan, the nation's top-scoring team, Logemann carried a shutout and a no-hitter into the fourth inning and held UM to just two runs over her first five innings of work to keep MU close. In an elimination game against the Fighting Irish, Logemann pitched the final 5.1 innings in relief, retiring the first seven batters she faced to give Miami a shot to come back when it already faced a 2-0 deficit. Logemann finished the season with a 24-13 record and a 2.55 ERA.
