
Twelve RedHawks Earn Academic All-MAC

Twelve members of the Miami University football team were named Academic All-MAC, announced by the league office on Tuesday, December 13. Quinn Calcagno, Evan Crabtree, Nick Dowd, Brad Earnest, Randy Heideman, Luke Mayock, Sam McCollum, Ryan Mullen, Mitch Palmer, Zach Swarts, Nate Trawick and Alexx Zielinski earned the award.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
