Pei Lin wins MAC Diver of the Week

CLEVELAND -- Miami University diver Pei Lin was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Diver of the week, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.
The award is the second of Lin's career and it is the third time a RedHawk woman has won this season.
Lin was the only RedHawk to win two individual events on Saturday against Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State. The redshirt junior swept the diving events against the Buckeyes, which is no easy feat.
In the one-meter dive, Lin scored 347.78 points, exactly 54 points more than Ohio State's leading diver. No one else scored above 300 points in the event. In the three-meter dive, she finished with a score of 373.13, 42.6 points in front of the second-place finisher. Lin has yet to lose an event this season.
Lin and the rest of the Miami men and women will compete at the Miami Invitational on Dec. 1-3 at the Corwin Nixon Aquatic Center.
