Miami Heads to Columbus to Face Ohio State

OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete together again for the first time in three weeks. The RedHawks will face Ohio State in Columbus Saturday at 1 p.m.
The men have not been in action since defeating Xavier on October 22. The women beat Ohio University last Saturday, downing the Bobcats 192-108.
A highlight of the meet included freshman Hannah Fuchs getting her first collegiate win. She did so in the 200-yard IM, clocking in at 2:05.76. Ella Moynihan picked up two wins in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:06.56) and 500-yard freestyle (4:56.54). Stephanie LeMire had two wins of her own in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.67) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.86).
Bill Wadley is the head coach for the Ohio State men's team, and has been for 28 seasons. The Buckeye men are 2-0, defeating Kenyon and Denison.
Ohio State's women's team is led by eighth-year head coach Bill Dorenkott. The Buckeye women finished second in the FGCU Swimming Classic in early October. They are 2-0 on the season, having defeated Kenyon and Denison.
