Miami University head football coach Chuck Martin has announced that Israel Woolfork has been named running backs coach for the RedHawks, replacing Autry Denson, who left the program earlier this year.
Woolfork spent the past 18 months as a graduate assistant for the RedHawks’ football program, working closely with the wide receivers and several special teams units.
Prior to arriving in Oxford, Ohio, Woolfork spent four season as a member of the football team at Grand Valley State University (2008-12). He was a three-year starter for GVSU and served as a team captain his senior year. That same season he earned all-conference honors.
Woolfork graduated with a degree in sports leadership from GVSU in 2013.
