RedHawks Fall to Chippewas, 11-0

OXFORD, Ohio – The RedHawks (4-17, 2-2 MAC) fell to the Chippewas (16-10, 3-1 MAC), 11-0 Friday in Miami's Mid-American Conference home opener.
The Red & White committed five errors and only mustered four hits in the loss. CMU recorded at least one run in innings four through eight, inlcuding a three-run home run in the top of the eigthth to seal the victory.
The RedHawks return to action tomorrow at 3 p.m. for game two against CMU. The team will look to avoid the series loss.
