Andresen on Johnny Bench Award Watch List

WICHITA, Kan. – Miami University senior catcher Max Andresen (Granger, Ind./Penn) was named to the watch list for the 2015 Johnny Bench Award by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission Wednesday.
The honor, presented by BaseballSavings.com, is given annually to the top division one collegiate catcher. The award began being handed out in 2000. Who receives the award is decided by Division I head coaches from the around the country.
Last season, Andresen hit .314, which was second-best on the team. He started behind the plate 33 times and played in 47 contests total. His 28 runs batted in was fourth-most on the team. With 55 hits, he was tied for third-most on the team.
