Burris Named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week

Senior Brison Burris has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office this morning.

The defensive back recorded seven tackles and had a 76-yard interception return versus Buffalo for a touchdown, the longest defensive score in Yager Stadium history.

Burris and the RedHawks will play host to Eastern Michigan this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. It will be Miami's annual Military Appreciation Day. More information can be found HERE.
