Rollins Earns MAC Award

Quinten Rollins has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office this morning (Dec. 1), following his efforts versus Ohio.
The senior recorded six tackles and two interceptions in the 24-21 loss to the Bobcats. Rollins’ first pick was returned 27 yards for his first career touchdown, while his second interception helped save a touchdown in the second half.
Rollins, who has played just one year of football, finished the 2014 season with 72 tackles, seven interceptions, nine pass breakups, one forced fumble and 4.0 tackles for loss. His seven interceptions rank third in the NCAA.
