Hendrix Named MAC East Offensive POW

For a second time this season, Andrew Hendrix has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week following his efforts versus Northern Illinois in a 51-41 loss in DeKalb, Illinois, last Saturday.

Hendrix completed 23-of-42 passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns while adding 72 yards and three scores on the ground. His 418 total yards are the second-most of his career, while his five total touchdowns matched a career best.

The fifth-year senior has completed 165-of-332 passes for 2,477 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, ranking him seventh in the country in both yards and touchdown passes. Hendrix leads the MAC in total offense per game (324.6), which also places him seventh nationally.
