Miami Athletic Ticket Office's Hours Change
OXFORD, Ohio - The Athletic Ticket Office hours at Miami University will change effective Monday, August 13, opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m.
The change was made to more effectively meet the needs of the public.
"The 8-to 10 a.m. timeframe has historically been our slowest hours of the day," said Athletic Ticket Manager ALEX WEIKEL. "Therefore, to increase our efficiency and decrease our operations cost, we'll now be opening at 10 a.m. After the football season ends, the hours will shift to 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m."

If you're unable to attend any of Miami's five home games in 2012, fans can donate their tickets to the MiamiCARES! Program. MiamiCARES! Is a ticket donation program designed to ensure donated game tickets are given free of charge to financially, physically or emotionally challenged youth in Miami's Tri-County area. While the ticket benefactors are not made public, the generosity of countless Miami fans, season ticket holders and alumni are providing endless opportunities for others to enjoy Miami's beautiful campus and a collegiate sports atmosphere. Fans wishing to participate simply inform the Athletic Ticket Office of their inability to attend a game and their subsequent desire to donate their unused tickets. The Athletic Ticket Office ideally asks for a notification of the donations at least a week beforehand, however, tickets will be accepted and donated as close as 48 hours prior to game day. MiamiCARES! is the ultimate alternative for university alumni who don't live within driving distance and are unable to attend each game, but still wish to support their alma mater's athletic program through their purchase of season tickets. Anyone interested in the MiamiCARES! program can contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-866-MUHAWKS (684-2957).
