Miami Alum Stegall Earns Hall of Fame Honor

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Canada - Former Miami University football star Milt Stegall has been inducted into the Canadian Football League Hall of Fame.
The ceremony took place Friday night in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the city in which he starred with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 1995 through 2008. The CFL's most outstanding player in 2002, Stegall was a six-time all-star and participated in two Grey Cup games,
He holds the league record for touchdowns with 147, including 144 passing TDs. Stegall set CFL records for single-season touchdowns (23 in 2002) and for single-season yards per catch (26.5 yards in 1997).
Stegall is the first Miami University alumnus to be named to the CFL Hall of Fame.
