Miami Announces 2011 Home Football Games

OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami RedHawk football team will be hosting six home games in 2011, including non-conference contests against Cincinnati (Oct. 1) and Army (Oct. 8) and Mid-American Conference match-ups against Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Western Michigan.
Dates for the four MAC games at Yager Stadium will be announced by the MAC office later this spring.
New Head Coach Don Treadwell has 51 letter winners returning in 2011, including quarterbacks Zac Dysert and Austin Boucher and receivers Nick Harwell, Chris Givens, DeMarco Paine and ANDY CRUSE. In addition, nine defensive starters return next season as Miami prepares to extend its winning streak.
In celebration of Wednesday's National Letter of Intent Day, Miami Athletics will be offering Miami Football Season tickets at their lowest price available.
For as low as $50/season ticket, Miami Football fans can enjoy all six games scheduled for Yager Stadium. Pricing for this one-day only sales event is:
- Regular Reserved - $90
- Miami Faculty/Staff Reserved - $75
- Senior Citizen - $80
- Youth - $70
- Hawks Nest (north endzone) - $50
To take advantage of this one-day opportunity, please call the Miami Athletic Ticket Office at 513-529-4295 (HAWK) during the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2nd. The ticket office reports that one-third of last year's season ticket holders have already renewed their orders for 2011, and indicates that it is four months ahead of a typical renewal response.
