"It was certainly a well?]fought battle between two good teams. There was a lot of effort from both sides and I think our guys were certainly prepared. I think they now appreciate the significance of this game.
We give a lot of credit to Ohio. They made a lot of plays down the stretch there when they had to, and again you go down the field on your first drive and come away with no points: that becomes huge as the game progresses.
On not being able to contain Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton
You have to give credit to him because he made plays. Their time of possession was huge in terms of momentum. They've got a tremendous quarterback and he is a great leader. He got out of the pocket a couple times when we had everything covered downfield and he made plays with his legs and his arms.
You just have to give credit to a guy at those times. We had chances but we didn't?capitalize."
On the play of quarterback Zac Dysert
"We have put a lot on his shoulders as our quarterback and certainly he was able to respond. But again, you learn as you go forward and there are certainly things he'll have to look back on critique. That's what the offseason is for, but we ca't thank our seniors enough. They have demonstrated great leadership amidst the adversity we've been through and we still have a springboard for what we want to do in the future. We're very proud of our seniors because of that."
