OXFORD, Ohio -- Spring has sprung in Oxford which means it's time for the Sports Marketing Department to do some much-needed Spring Cleaning! This weekend, the Sports Marketing staff will be busy cleaning out the closets of Millett Hall and sorting through boxes of unused Miami Athletics t-shirts.
In order to clean out space for next year, the Sports Marketing Department will be distributing these t-shirts to lucky fans during this weekends' softball and baseball games. This weekend's softball theme against Toledo and Bowling Green is Cancer Awareness and every fan supporting the cause by wearing a pink shirt will receive a Miami Athletics shirt.
Another opportunity for a free shirt will come at this weekend's baseball games against Akron. Any fan who donates a canned food item, will receive a short. It's that simple... bring a canned good, get a shirt. All food donations will benefit the Oxford Community Choice Pantry. Remember to come out to the ballparks this weekend to support your RedHawks and have the opportunity to win in the Spring Cleaning giveaway!
