Coach Michael Haywood's RedHawk football team has a chance to win the Mid-American Conference's East Division title Tuesday night and he needs you to support your team at Yager Stadium at 7 p.m. for the nationally televised game against Temple.
The Big MAC Challenge, delivered by McDonald's, features two of the conference's top teams, Miami (7-4) and Temple (8-3).
"We want our students to fill the east stands at Yager so that America can see the loyalty of Miami University," said Haywood. "We've got 21 seniors who will be making their final appearance on their home field and we want to give them something special to remember. Before you depart for Thanksgiving weekend to spend time with your families, please spend Tuesday night cheering on the RedHawks. The ESPN cameras will be focused on your enthusiasm, so bring your roommates, come dressed in Red and White, and help shine the spotlight on Oxford and Yager Stadium Tuesday night."
Much is at stake for the RedHawks as they will be battling the Owls for a potential appearance in the MAC Championship game and a bowl game invitation.
Join athletic director BRAD BATES for free food and soft drinks prior to kick-off at the Sierra Mist Athletic Director's Tailgate near the Softball Field starting at 5:30 P.M.
Be a part of this extraordinary transformation. Miami students get free admission to RedHawk football games but, if you're not a student, call (513) 529-4295.
