Miami Tennis Extends Win Streak to Three Matches at FAU

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Miami University women's tennis team reeled off its third straight victory at Florida Atlantic University this afternoon getting past the host Owls 4-3.
The RedHawks took a 1-0 lead after doubles as the teams of Lida Pestova/Victoria Pulido and Kristen McPhillips/Kelly Douple won 8-6 and 8-1, respectively.
In singles play, Miami and FAU split the six matches with No. 1 Katrina Lomidze (64, 0-6, 6-3), No. 3 Linda Jirouskova (7-5, 6-2) and No. 6 Kelly Douple (6-1, 6-2) winning for the RedHawks.
The Red and White, which improves to 6-7 on the season, plays again tomorrow in Miami, Fla., at Florida International at 2 p.m.
