Miami Has Key Ingredient in Roethlisberger

For college football pundits to be singing the praises of a Miami quarterback is not unusual. They usually mean the school in Coral Gables, Fla. Heading into this season, though, they're talking about a prolific passer from the Miami in Oxford, Ohio.
Miami (Ohio) QB Ben Roethlisberger has two 3,000-yard passing seasons under his belt. Another one could lead the RedHawks to a MAC title.
Ben Roethlisberger (ROTH-ulz-bur-ger) enters his junior year with two 3,000-yard passing seasons under his belt and hoping to lead the RedHawks to the Mid-American Conference championship.
"If you look at this league, it seems whoever has had the best quarterback has won it," Miami coach Terry Hoeppner says. "Hopefully that will give us an advantage this year."
