Hall of Fame
Perrin was selected the "Swimmer of the Year" in the MAC and Miami's "Athlete of the Year" in 1972. In his three-year career, he captured six MAC titles in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley events and swam on three championship relay teams in the 400- and 800-yard freestyle events.
Miami's first recipient of an NCAA Post-graduate Scholarship, he graduated Cum Laude from Miami in 1972 and enrolled in medical school at Indiana University. He went on to be a physician in Greenburg, Ind.
