Swimming ... nine-time Mid-American Conference champion for Miami from 1978-82 ... won six individual crowns and bolstering three championship relays ... dominated the 50-yard freestyle ... seized four MAC titles in the event (1978, '79, '81, '82) ... first MAC swimmer to win the event four years and remains one of only two MAC swimmers to dominate the 50 freestyle all four years ... in '79 and `81 he captured individual MAC crowns in the 100-yard freestyle ... propelled Miami to MAC titles in the 400 freestyle relay in 1981 and '82.
