Paul Schnackenberg

Schnackenberg was a four-year letterman as a guard for Miami under basketball Coach W. J. "Blue" Foster from 1946-49. He was selected all-Ohio three years and made the all-Mid-American Conference team his senior year. He served as honorary co-captain during the 1947-48 season with Bob Brown, also a member of Miami's Athletic Hall of Fame.
Schnackenberg could shoot with either hand and scored a total of 613 points before graduating in 1949. A total team player, he enjoyed passing and assisting his teammates in scoring. A graduate of South Shore High School in Chicago, Schnackenberg was also inducted into the Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1975.
