Lori Brown played four years of volleyball (1975-78) and two years of softball (1977-78) for Miami as a student-athlete. After graduation, she spent six years (1978-84) as the sports information director for women's sports at Miami and added Assistant Director of Communications from 1979-84 to her responsibilities. She then served on Miami's Hall of Fame/Cradle of Coaches committee for 40 years, retiring from that role back in 2023. In total, she spent 55 years as a student-athlete, employee and committee member for Miami Athletics.
