Lisa Dankovich

Dankovich was a three-time All-MAC selection for Miami volleyball from 1983 to 1986. She continues to hold the Mid-American Conference record for service aces in a season (99) and is the Miami record holder for career service aces (207), which currently ranks fourth among MAC leaders. A superb setter for the Red and White, Dankovich finished her career as Miami's record holder for assists and assists per game and currently ranks fourth all time in assists per game and fifth in assists. During her playing career, she helped Miami to a 95-39 record, a .709 winning percentage.
Dankovich returned to her alma mater two years after graduating, going on to serve as an assistant coach for the Red and White for 16 seasons. During her coaching tenure, Miami experienced remarkable success, including five MAC regular-season titles, three MAC tournament titles and seven postseason appearances, including five NCAA Tournament berths. The 1995 team became the first in MAC volleyball history to earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament and finished the season with an NCAA RPI of #24 in the country.
Dankovich continued her association with Miami University following her coaching stint, and currently serves as Director of University External Relations. She also is an analyst for Miami volleyball's ESPN3 broadcasts.
