Jill Kohrs
- Induction:
- 2015
- Class:
- 1984
Kohrs, a powerful left-side attacker, lifted Miami volleyball to its first three MAC titles in 1980, 1981 and 1982. Competing for the Red and White from 1980-83, Kohrs was a two-time All-MAC selection, earning first-team distinction in 1982 as the Red and White captured the first MAC regular-season crown. It was the conference's first season holding regular-season matches instead of only sponsoring a tournament format.
Kohrs and the 1980 team advanced to the Midwest Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (MAIAW) regional championship and amassed a 41-10 record, which continues to stand as the most wins in program history. The following year Kohrs and the Red and White again made history, earning the program's first NCAA Tournament bid.
