Amassing 5,794 assists, Stout finished her career as the MAC record holder in assists and ranked among Division I career leaders. Still the Miami record holder, she ranks second among all-time MAC leaders. Stout also owns Miami records for career assists per game (12.43) and single-season assists per game (13.23 in 1996). A three-time All-MAC selection, earning first-team distinction in 1997, Stout also garnered First-Team AVCA All-District II recognition. She was named the MAC Player of the Year as a senior in 1997, Miami Female Athlete of the year in 1997-98, MAC Tournament MVP in 1996 and MAC Freshman of the Year in 1994.
A two-time MAC All-Tournament Team selection, Stout paced Miami to a MAC Tournament title in 1996 as well as three regular-season MAC crowns (1995, 1996, 1997). She participated in the postseason all four years, including NCAA Tournament appearances in 1995, 1996 and 1997. A three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, Stout earned CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-America honors in 1997.
