Harry Stryker was an all-Ohio and all-Buckeye Conference fullback for Miami from 1925-27. An outstanding runner, pass receiver and punter, he gained mention on Walter Camp's All-America team in 1926 and also received special mention as one of Miami's All-Time Gridiron Greats. He helped Miami hand Oberlin its first defeat in four years during the 1926 season as he turned a fake punt into a 85-yard touchdown run.

Stryker was a teammate of Miami Athletic Hall of Famers Tom Sharkey and Weeb Ewbank. An article in the Oxford newspaper stated: "Stryker was one of the greatest fullbacks in the history of football in Ohio colleges. He was a triple-threat runner who didn't miss a game in his three-year career. He was the one great threat that provided the backbone of Miami's offense and defense in 1925, 1926 and 1927."

Stryker passed away in January of 1975. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1975.
