Elizabeth Workum is the all-time leading scorer in Miami field hockey history. From 1977-80, she scored 93 goals and 11 assists for 104 points, leading Miami to the 1980 state championship, regional runner-up and AIAW National Tournament.
The 1981 Miami Female Athlete of the Year, Workum led the Redskins to a four-year mark of 53-22-3 under coach Lil Fesperman. Workum also threw the javelin for the Miami track and field team.
