Davis was one of just two players in program history and among an elite group MAC men's basketball players to earn first-team all-MAC honors three times, doing so from 1995-97. Leading Miami to NCAA Tournaments in 1995 and 1997 and NIT berths in 1994 and 1996, Davis is one of just eight players in program history to advance to postseason play all four years. Following Miami's 1997 MAC Tournament title, Davis was tabbed MAC Tournament MVP. Davis also led Miami to MAC regular-season titles in 1995 and 1997. Additionally, he was named to the MAC all-freshman team in 1994.
Davis ranks among Miami's career top-10 leaders in 14 of 19 statistical categories and is Miami's career record holder for made free throws and free-throw attempts. With 1,828 points and 1,027 rebounds, Davis ranks third among Miami's career leaders in both categories and is just one of three players to amass more than 1,000 career rebounds. During his Miami career, the Red and White compiled a 53-19 MAC record, including a 16-2 mark in 1995, which ties for the most MAC wins in a season by a Miami team.
Following his Miami career, he went overseas to play professionally. Davis had a 15 year career in the U.S., Philippines, Spain, Russia, and Argentina.
