Hall of Fame
One of the most prolific players in Miami men's soccer history, Dan Creech becomes the first men's soccer player to join the Miami Athletics Hall of Fame. Creech, a dominant forward for the Red and White from 1991-94, was a three-time First-Team All-MAC, All-Ohio and NSCAA Mideast Region selection (1991, 1993, 1994). Spearheading Miami to its only Mid-American Conference Championship, MAC Tournament title and NCAA Tournament berth, Creech was named the 1994 MAC Player of the Year and the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Player of the Year.
Miami went 15-5-1 in 1994, the most wins in program history, and posted an undefeated 4-0-1 record in league play as he led the MAC in points (45) and goals (21). His 21 goals were a MAC record and currently rank second, while his 45 points also were a MAC record and currently rank third among MAC single-season leaders. He finished his career as the MAC's all-time leader in goals scored (41), which currently ranks second, and points (91), which currently ranks fourth among MAC career leaders. Creech is the Miami single-season and career record holder for goals and points.
