Ice hockey ... four-year letter winner as a defenseman (1991-94) ... helped lead Miami to its first CCHA title in 1992-93 with a record of 27-9-5 and earned second-team all-Central Collegiate Hockey Association honors ... he and teammate Brian Savage were the first ice hockey all-Americans at Miami, earning second-team honors in 1993 ... is the school s second-leading scorer among defensemen and 22nd overall with 115 points ... 1993-94 team captain ... was named team Co-Rookie of the Year in 1990-91 along with current head coach Enrico Blasi ... named 1992-93 CCHA Best Defensive Defenseman.
