Amy Miranda

Miranda was a seven-time MAC Champion and helped Miami to three MAC titles (2002, 2003, 2004) during her career. Over her four years, Miami compiled a dual meet record of 44-15, including a 14-1 mark in 2002, 14-3 record in 2003 and a 12-1 mark in 2004. Miranda was undefeated at the MAC Championships in the 1,650-yard freestyle, winning the event each of her four years from 2001-2004.
She joined Miami Hall of Famers Robin Chico and Tish Bucher as the only women's swimmers in program history to be four-time MAC Champions in an individual event and is the only women's swimmer in MAC history to win the 1,650 freestyle four times. Miranda also was a three-time MAC Champion in the 500-yard freestyle (2002, 2003, 2004). A three-time First-Team All-MAC selection, she finished her career as the Miami record holder in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:01.23 in 2003) and the 1650-yard freestyle (16:30.70 in 2003).
