The program's only player to be named MAC Tournament MVP, Amanda Jackson led Miami to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2008 as the RedHawks won their first MAC Tournament since the 1981-82 season. Jackson was named to the MAC All-Tournament Team as well.
The three-time all-conference selection graduated as the program's leading scorer (1,979) and the record holder in field goals (685), free throws (464) and 20-point games (38).
Jackson still holds the single-season records for points (712), field goals (239), field goals attempted (607), free throws (175), free throws attempted (207) and 20-point games (19), all records she set during her senior season. She ranks in the top-10 in program history in 10 different categories.Â
