Miami Fan Bus Trip to Detroit for the MAC Football Championship!
We are excited to have you with us in Detroit for the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championship game and our quest for our 18th overall MAC title! We have two fan buses taking students and fans to Detroit! All buses will leave from the west side (large parking lot side) of Millett Hall at 6 a.m. sharp as we are anticipating heavy traffic around the Toledo area and into Michigan/Detroit.
- For parking, you may park in the West Millett parking lot in the area for commuters (indicated with signage on a light post) without a Miami parking pass on Saturday while you are attending the game.
- You may bring food and drinks on the bus, but no alcohol is permitted, and please be sure to throw away your trash. Those items will not be permitted in Ford Field.
- Our buses will park behind the McLaren and Tigers/Lions Parking Garages, and you will need to walk from there to the stadium. (See map below.) Gate C will be the closest entrance from the buses.
- We will make a driver change on the way to Detroit but ask you not to leave the buses. There are no planned stops for fans on the way up or the way back. The buses do have a bathroom. If the bus driver should need to make a stop, we ask that you do not leave the bus at that time.
- We will depart 45 minutes after the conclusion of the game to allow you time to leave the stadium and walk back to the buses. If you are not on the bus in that time-frame, you will be responsible for finding your own way back to Oxford.
- The buses will be numbered, and we need you to ride back on the bus you rode up on if you are returning back to Oxford with us. You do not have to ride the bus back to Oxford.
- Millett Hall will not be available for entry/access upon arrival back in Oxford so please plan accordingly.
- You may leave items on the bus at your own risk; the bus company, Miami Athletics and Miami University are not responsible for anything left on the bus at any time during the trip.
- Please review the Allowed/Prohibited Items list for Ford Field prior to Saturday so you know what will be allowed into the venue. Ford Field has a clear bag policy!
- Please make sure that you have received and downloaded your ticket from “Ford Field” prior to arriving for bus departure on Saturday morning.
