Whitman, a 2000 graduate of Miami with degrees in education, health and sport studies and zoology, has recently completed course work toward a master's in health promotion and education at the University of Cincinnati. Whitman previously served since 2001 as Head Athletic Trainer at Turpin High School in Cincinnati.
Whitman's responsibilities at Miami include field hockey and softball.
