Wolf, Smith Named Miami Athletes of the Week

For their performances last week, Ivy Wolf and Billy Smith are Miami's Athletes of the Week, presented by Skyline Chili for the week of Nov. 28.

Female Winner: Ivy Wolf
Ivy Wolf averaged 20.0 points and 4.0 assists over the past week to lead the Miami University women's basketball team. The sophomore scored 17 points and added three assists at Western Kentucky and followed that up with 23 points and five assists at Evansville. The Minster, Ohio native was 12-of-13 from the free throw line for the week. Wolf is majoring in both Kinesiology and Sports Leadership and Management in the College of Education, Health and Society.

Male Winner: Billy Smith
Billy Smith buried five three-pointers in the first five minutes of the game to spark the Miami men's basketball team to an 80-67 win over Little Rock Saturday afternoon. Smith finished the game with 18 points, five rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes of action. He shot 60% from behind the arc (6-10), improving his season average to 41% (16-39 on three-pointers). Smith is a freshman Finance major in the Farmer School of Business from Indianapolis, Ind.
