Ben Neff Named MAC Swimmer of the Week

Ben Neff swam a lifetime best at the Louisville Invitational last weekend.
CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly swimming and diving awards on Wednesday. Freshman Ben Neff was named men's MAC Swimmer of the Week for the first time in his career.
Neff swam a lifetime best in one event and season-best times in all three of his events at the Louisville Invitational last weekend. Neff had his lifetime best in the 200 back (1:53.69) after beginning the meet with season-best times in the 200 free (1:42.52) and the 200 free relay (1:24.16), on which he swam the lead-off leg.
The Miami men compete in the 2020 MAC Championships in Carbondale, Ill. from Wednesday, March 4 through Saturday, March 7. The Miami women travel to Buffalo, N.Y. for the 2020 MAC Championships from Wednesday, Feb. 26 though Saturday, Feb. 29.
