RedHawks Announce 2018 Football Schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Miami University's football team, along with the Mid-American Conference, announced its 2018 schedule this afternoon. Miami's schedule is highlighted by a season opener versus Marshall and trips to Minnesota and Army.
Miami unlocks the season with three non-conference opponents. After opening the year at home versus Marshall on Sept. 1, the RedHawks host Cincinnati (Sept. 8) at Paul Brown Stadium. Following the contest with the Bearcats, Miami travels to Minnesota on Sept. 15. The RedHawks final non-conference game is at Army on Oct. 20.
Home MAC contests in 2018 include Western Michigan (Sept. 29), Kent State (Oct. 13), Ohio (Nov. 7) and Ball State (Nov. 20). The contest with Ohio will be on ESPN2/ESPNU, while the game versus Ball State will be live on ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN3.
The RedHawks begin conference play on Sept. 22 with a trip to Bowling Green. Other conference road games are Akron (Oct. 6), Buffalo (Oct. 30) and Northern Illinois (Nov. 14).
Season tickets are on sale now. For five home games, fans can purchase chairback seating for $125. Other prices include $105 (general public/bench) and $95 (Miami faculty/staff/band parent). Miami is offering a Family Plan, which includes four season tickets (2 adults, 2 children) for $220, located on the East side of Yager Stadium. Miami begins spring practice on March 11 and will hold its Spring Showcase on April 21.
Game times and other themes, including Homecoming, will be announced at a later date.
