Junior RedHawks Looking for New Members

Miami welcomes its youngest RedHawks fans through the Jr. RedHawks Kids Club. The Jr. RedHawks program is geared toward engaging youth in meaningful, yet fun activities with positive role models like coaches and student-athletes. The Jr. RedHawks learn about important life values like leadership, sportsmanship, citizenship, friendship, and health and well-being.
"The Jr. RedHawks program has evolved over the years to incorporate fun with teaching moments of valuable life lessons from our student-athletes and coaches," states Anthony J. Azama, Director of Marketing.
The club is for kids age 14 and under and includes fabulous prizes and exclusive special membership events. A membership includes a Jr. RedHawks Club T-shirt and official membership card for the full year. As soon as you register, you will also start receiving monthly e-newsletters notifying you about the upcoming events, as well as special notes from Swoop and Miami student-athletes.
In the past, the Jr. RedHawks have received special invitations to autograph sessions, Jr. RedHawk Days, movie nights, pizza parties and more. Last fall they had a chance to meet and skate with the Miami Ice Hockey Team. Throughout the year other Miami teams also host special nights just for the Jr. RedHawks, where the members receive free admission, gifts, are recognized during breaks, and spends some time with teams. In the end, the team gets to know some of its biggest fans, while the Jr. RedHawks receive a once in a lifetime experience.
